Diaz turns to comedy to help heal grief of dad&#39s death

Washington, April 28 (ANI): Cameron Diaz will show her new film &#39What Happens In Vegas&#39 to her grieving family, in hope that a &#39good laugh&#39 would pull them through the death of her father, Emilio.

Emilio Diaz died at the age of 58 from post-influenza MRSA pneumonia on April 15.

In a personal note to the press, the actress insists that laughter is the best therapy to cure the distress following her father&#39s death, and is hoping the comedy will help them all heal.

This weekend I am screening What Happens In Vegas for my family. It was a unanimous decision that we all needed to share a good laugh, Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

After all that&#39s why we make films like these. So people can leave behind their worries for a couple of hours. Have a good laugh, she added. (ANI)
